After he required emergency medical attention, the game was postponed and the NFL Players Association released a statement. Twitter and wrote that they were praying for him.

“The NFLPA and everyone in our community is praying for Damar Hamlin. We kept in touch with Bills and Bengals players as well as the NFL. The only thing that matters at the moment is the health and well-being of Damar,” the Association wrote.

Hamlin was released from the hospital on January 9, but according to close friend and business partner Jordan Rooney, “Despite the fact that Damar has been released from the hospital, he still has a long recovery ahead of him,” according to ESPN.
