Quincy, Massachusetts. Defense attorney Brian Walsh has broken her silence regarding the recently released charges against her client and the prosecutor’s alleged refusal to provide her with evidence related to the case.

“It is easy to accuse of a crime and even easier to say that a person committed this crime. It is much more difficult to prove this, and we will see if the prosecution can do it, ”Tracey Miner’s lawyer wrote in an emailed statement. to the media on Wednesday afternoon.

Earlier that day, Miner appeared in Massachusetts’ Quincy District Court with her client, Walsh, 47, who was arraigned on charges of murder and improper transportation of the body.

Prosecutors said they believe Walsh killed his wife, the mother of his three children, Ana Walsh, then dismembered her and disposed of her remains. But Miner, a longtime lawyer, said she would not comment on the allegations because she planned to “take this case to court, not to the media.”

When they have a strong case, they give me everything as soon as possible,” she wrote. “We will see what they have and what evidence is admissible in court, where the case will ultimately be decided.”

In her emailed statement, Miner asked the media to refrain from bombarding her with requests for comments and interviews she would not provide.

Ana Walsh, property manager for Tishman Speyer, was previously scheduled to leave for WashingtonJanuary 3, but allegedly said there was an emergency that required her to fly there earlier than expected.

Her company told her missing to police on January 4, after defense attorney Brian Walsh said he contacted the firm to inquire about Ana’s whereabouts.

Prosecutors noted in court on Wednesday that Brian Walsh conducted 20 Google searches after Ana Walsh’s alleged disappearance on Jan. 1 related to body parts, dismemberment or disposal of remains, and tracking of evidence. Investigators also allegedly found evidence of Ana Walsh’s DNA and blood in materials Walsh tried to throw away, officials said.
