Biden’s wall construction begins when he visits the border, but it’s not where you think

Finally, it appears that President Joe Biden was convinced that the walls worked.

Unfortunately, this was not enough to change his mind about securing the US-Mexico border, which remains as insecure as ever, despite his recent visit there. However, his administration began work on the project a little closer to home.

To his home, that is.

Biden’s vacation home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, is getting a new “security fence”—at taxpayer expense, of course.

In October 2021, the New York Post reported that Biden’s Department of Homeland Security awarded a contract worth almost half a million dollars to Turnstone Holdings, LLC to “BUY AND INSTALL A SECURITY FENCE” in a vacation home.

Yesterday, the British Daily Mail published some exclusive photos of the construction, which finally began last week.

Updated records on USASPENDING.gov, the federal government’s official source of spending data, show that the cost has since risen to $501,824 from the original $456,548 allocated to the project originally.

Part of that increase is said to be due to unexpected work on the project – such as relocating a water main – that anyone who has ever managed a major construction project knows is a common occurrence.

In fact, given the inflation under the Biden administration, we should probably be happy that the project will still cost less than seven figures.

The same site lists an expected completion date of September 30, 2023.

Meanwhile, if the volume of illegal immigration remains about the same as in 2022, the US should see another 2 million or so illegal immigrants enter the country through our porous, vulnerable southern border. (NBC News estimated about 2.76 million illegal crossings last year.)

Few of these illegals are expected to make it to Rehoboth Beach, but anyone who does will most likely not be able to get into Biden’s beach house. So, we have it happening for us.

Biden, as regular readers of The Western Journal will already know, has just returned from a three-hour photo shoot on the southern border, where he was heavily criticized by the right and even experts from CNN.

However, as usual, “Babylon Bee” had the best results:
