Biden stumbles while congratulating Schumer on ‘slightly bigger majority’

President Joe Biden struggled to congratulate Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (DN.Y.) during his address to Congress.

During his Tuesday night speech, Biden said, “Congratulations to Chuck Schumer, another, you know, another term in the Minori Senate…”.

He continued, “You know, I think you are, uh, only you have a slightly larger majority this time, Mr. Leader. You are the leader of the majority.”

Schumer made headlines during last year’s address to Congress after applauding Biden a little early.

“Unlike [$2 trillion] The previous administration’s tax cuts benefited the richest 1% of Americans,” Biden said of his predecessor, former President Donald Trump.

Schumer then began to applaud before he stopped.

Biden added: “The American rescue plan helped save people and left no one behind.”

Biden’s stumbling during the speech wasn’t the only noteworthy moment of the evening.

According to IJR, in the video, US First Lady Jill Biden kisses Vice President Kamala Harris’ husband Doug Emhoff on the lips.
