Ohio WWII veteran celebrates 100th birthday and 79th wedding anniversary in March

The World War II veteran celebrated his 100th birthday in Ohio on Thursday.

Ned Ammons of Genoa, Ohio, who served in the U.S. Army during World War II, turned 100 on Thursday, WTOL informed.

“I have a good family. I am very proud of them. They, all of them, there is nothing that they would not do for us, and there is nothing that I would not do for them. In fact, they are very, very good at helping other people,” he said.

The publication noted that on March 26, he and Ruth will celebrate their 79th birthday.
