Arthur Stilwell’s Steam Dream will return to the Railway Museum in March

The cast of Arthur Stilwell’s Steam Dream are all local and will be dressed in 1910s style.

SAN ANGELO, Texas. The San Angelo Railroad Museum is once again giving people the opportunity to immerse themselves in history by telling the true story of how San Angelo got his depot in “Arthur Stilwell’s Steam Dream.”

Most performances of the historical play last year were sold out, according to a press release from the Railway Museum, but performances will return March 23-26.

“Guests will enjoy champagne and hors d’oeuvres in a 1910 scene straight from Arthur Stilwell’s historic dream of a powerful railroad across San Angelo to Mexico. whose words about the Mexican Revolution are based on extensive research,” the press release reads.

The cast of Arthur Stilwell’s Couple’s Dream are all local and will be dressed in 1910 style. Linda Thorsen Bond’s new book, San Angelo and Arthur Stilwell. The Dream of a Couple is available at the museum, local bookstores and online. .

Bookings for Arthur Stilwell’s Steam Dream are now available at 703 San Angelo Railroad Museum, S. Chadbourne. The performances take place from 23 to 26 March on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 19:00 and the matinee on Sunday at 14:30. Tickets are $25 and include a 1910-style reception. The group rate is $20 per person for groups of eight or more.
