American swimmer found dead in US Virgin Islands, investigation underway

Former US swimmer dies in the US Virgin Islandsaccording to police, who say her boyfriend took her to the hospital, where she was pronounced “dead” upon arrival.

Jamie Cale, 42, was originally from New Hampshire and lived in Cruz Bay on St. John’s Island.

Virgin Islands police did not release boyfriend’s name on the incident statement and did not immediately respond to calls or emails from Fox News Digital Monday.

Virgin Islands police opened crime investigation and are asking anyone with information on the case to contact detectives or call 911.
