Monterey County updated its current emergency notice list on Sunday to keep area residents informed of the latest weather and flooding events.
A previously announced evacuation order for residents along the Carmel River in the Carmel Valley and Carmel-by-the-Sea has been downgraded to an evacuation warning effective immediately.
In addition, as of Sunday afternoon, evacuation warnings were lifted for all areas near the Big Sur River in Big Sur and the Carr Lake area in Salinas.
Residents can get information by dialing 211 or by visiting Monterey County’s online emergency information app.
