Women Affected by Abortion Laws File Lawsuit Against Texas

Austin, Texas – Several women who say they have been influenced by what many are calling extreme abortion laws in Texas are announcing a joint lawsuit.

The Center for Reproductive Rights says it is filing an unprecedented lawsuit on behalf of Texans affected by the state’s abortion ban.

The group makes an announcement on the North Lawn of the Texas State Capitol.

Speakers include several patients who are plaintiffs in the case, as well as President and CEO of the Nancy Northup Center for Reproductive Rights.
