Woman dies after falling out of moving vehicle on I-45, police say

Police said the man and woman were drunk beforehand, and after she fell, the woman didn’t get into the car.

HOUSTON. A woman died after she fell out of a moving vehicle on the Northern Freeway, according to the Houston Police Department.

Police said the couple walked out of a club in downtown Houston just before 10 p.m. Sunday and began arguing as they drove down I-45 near W. Cavalcade St.

According to police, the woman demanded to be let out of the car and began to climb out of the window, after which she fell onto the main lanes of I-45. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The police said that the man stopped and was detained, but so far he is cooperating with the investigation. They also said that both the man and the woman were drunk beforehand and that the car did not hit the woman after she fell.
