Woman charged with attempted murder of boyfriend who peed in bed

According to authorities, a Louisiana woman is accused of stabbing her boyfriend after he peed in their bed after a night of drinking.

Deputies from the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office said 25-year-old Briana Lacoste has been charged with one count of attempted second-degree murder.

According to a police report obtained by FOX, deputies responded to the stabbing at a local hospital on January 14.

The victim ended up in the emergency room after being stabbed in the left side of his torso. He also had a punctured lung.

The victim told authorities that Lacoste was “extremely angry” at him for urinating on the bed. The couple lived together for a year and a half.

The report also stated that the couple had been drinking late and were intoxicated.

The guy then said that Lacoste woke him up and stared at him. He tried to hold her down and then tried to physically move away from her. However, according to the documents, Lacoste lunged at him with a kitchen knife and stabbed him.

During the investigation, Lacoste reportedly told deputies that the couple planned to separate. She admitted that night that she was upset after her boyfriend peed on himself and “pulled” him out of bed, leading to a physical altercation.

The police report says that Lacoste admitted that during the fight, her boyfriend began to choke her, and she defended herself. She then confessed that she stabbed her boyfriend in the left side under his arm and tried to get medical help before taking her boyfriend to the hospital.
