WATCH: 13-year-old Palestinian terrorist opens fire on Israelis in Jerusalem

Two Israelis, father and son, were seriously wounded near the Old City of Jerusalem on Saturday morning by a 13-year-old Arab terrorist.

The younger victim, an airborne brigade soldier on duty, managed to shoot a terrorist named Mohammed Aliyat from Silwan in east Jerusalem.

Another member of the group was also caught on surveillance video shooting a teenager who emerged from his hiding place behind parked cars before opening fire.

The two victims were evacuated to a Jerusalem hospital where they were treated for gunshot wounds to the chest and abdomen, respectively. Their condition is said to be serious but stable.

The shooting took place hours ago the night before when a Palestinian terrorist killed seven people, including children, as they left Friday night prayers at a synagogue in Jerusalem’s Neve Yaakov neighborhood. It was the deadliest Palestinian terrorist attack against Israelis since 2008.

The attacks followed Thursday’s IDF raid in the West Bank city of Jenin, in which nine people were killed, most of them terrorists.

The terrorists were planning a massive bombardment of Israel. Later, terrorist groups from Gaza fired rockets into Israel. The Palestinian Authority announced the end of security cooperation with Israel as a result of the raid.

On Saturday, the Palestinian Authority issued a statement saying it held Israel “entirely responsible for the dangerous escalation” of violence, but made no mention of the two attacks. He also called the Palestinian terrorists “martyrs”.
