Warriors’ Draymond Green wants to end ‘Black History Month’ because February is the shortest month

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green says he would like to end Black History Month as he feels blacks are cracking down on it because February is the shortest month of the year.

Green released his complaints, saying the U.S. should “get rid” of the Tuesday celebration following the Warriors’ 123–105 victory over the Trail Blazers. New York Post.

“Black history month, can we ever get rid of it? … Why should we have the shortest month to celebrate our history,” exclaimed Green.

He then accused the “governors” without evidence of somehow removing black history from public schools.

“We’ve got governors who want to get our history out of schools,” Green chatted, “and I’m not going to be the fool to say, ‘Yes, we can celebrate this for 28 days.’ So at some point I would like to get rid of it. We’re making all these changes in the world – we can’t talk about these people, we can’t talk about these people, we can’t say this, we can’t say that.”

“At some point it was time to get rid of Black History Month. Don’t get rid of black history like they are trying to do. But Black History Month? No, learn my story from January 1 to December 31, and then repeat. And then again. And then again. And then again. That’s what I’d like to see,” he continued.

Green is likely indulging an uninformed opinion about Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who is re-evaluating the state’s African American studies programs, which the governor says are racist, anti-American propaganda, not legal education.

Green also wore a T-shirt promoting Black History Month, but hypocritically stated that he “just wore this shirt because I didn’t have another shirt to wear.”

While Greene may be upset that Black History Month has become the shortest month of the year, he doesn’t seem interested in seeing those who died for our country get just one day, let alone the shortest month of the year. .
