Volunteer fire department asks for help finding missing man

Officials said the man, suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, left the treatment facility on Plover Circle near Knight Lane. He was last seen around 5:00 pm.

Officials added that the man was about 6 feet tall, with gray hair and glasses. He was last seen wearing blue sneakers, khaki pants, a blue shirt, and a grayish blue jacket.

At first, Ponder VFD did not name the man. The WFAA has asked them to share it and will update this story as soon as it is published.

Officials said the man did not know the area but was very active and agile.

Anyone who sees the man is asked to call 911.
