Florida Expands Specialty License Plate Options, Providing Drivers with More Choices

Each specialty license plate will come with an additional annual fee ranging from $15 to $25. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of each plate will be directed to a specific organization associated with that particular plate. This initiative aims to provide financial support to nonprofits across the state.
Among the new license plate options included in the legislation are designs themed around state and independent universities in Florida, the King Center, Universal Orlando Resort, Margaritaville, the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, and various charitable causes like diabetes research and overdose awareness.
