Universal Kids Frisco: New Kids Theme Park Opens in North Texas

Universal Parks and Resorts has announced plans to create a Universal Kids theme park aimed at families with young children.

“The proposed park will be designed to be more intimate and appealing to a younger audience, and will appeal to a regional audience. It will be full of attractions for the whole family, interactive and playful shows, character meet and greets, unique merchandise and fun food. and bars. Although smaller in size, it will still be of the same quality as other larger Universal resorts,” the company said in a statement.

The 97-acre park will be about a quarter of the size of Orlando’s Universal Park. But it will still include four or five different themed lands and a 300-room hotel.

The company said it chose Frisco for the new theme park concept due to the area’s growing population and demographics, as well as recent business development.
