TSA finds 84mm weapons in luggage at Texas airport

The owner of the luggage was located, identified and taken to the office, a SAPD spokesman told Fox News Digital.

The owner identified the steps taken to “demilitarize” the props and provided the relevant documents to the company.

The TSA Explosives Specialist also confirmed that the item could no longer be used; however, the TSA chief stated that the item would not be allowed on board the aircraft.

Air passengers who wish to carry firearms must do so in their checked baggage. These passengers must follow the instructions for packing firearms in checked baggage and declare them to their airline at check-in.
