Ticket prices soar on Kyrie Irving’s Mavs home debut at the American Airlines Center

One fan told the WFAA that he paid $600 for a ticket to the Monday night game.

DALLAS. Mavs fans are ready for Kyrie Irving’s home debut at the American Airlines Center on Monday.

“We just received the Kyrie jerseys,” said A.B. Ahmed. He and Alexia Huerta bought the #2 jerseys from a hangar in Victory Park the Monday before the game. “We are glad to see him. We can get Luca’s jerseys anytime, but Kairi is new now.”

The couple also revealed that they have bought tickets for the Mavs-Timberwolves game on Monday. before Irving Trade. Their seats cost $300 each.

“We were just lucky,” Ahmed said. “This is a really good section, but I don’t know what [tickets are] going for now. Probably three.”

Seats for a game on Monday are not cheap.

“Each cost about $600,” Trenton Jardine said of his tickets for Monday’s game.

“I mean it’s an investment. I think it’s an investment,” said Tommy Calhoun, describing the cost of his tickets. “Very expensive, but worth it. This is his first home game.”

Tickets are expensive if you can find them.

“I mean we sold out and we probably sold out shortly after that as soon as [the trade] has been announced, said David Christofferson, owner of Metro Tickets at Victory Park. “It was already good, but now it’s like a completely different level of quality.”

“Basically, everyone who had tickets on sale had their prices probably up 30%, maybe more,” Kristofferson said.
