Three men have been charged after their fleeing car crashed into several police cars and nearly hit an MP during a chase Saturday morning.

The Ward County Sheriff’s Department says the chase began in McLean County around 7:40 a.m. Saturday and then continued along U.S. Route 83 into Ward County and ended in Minot.

At one point during the chase, the fleeing vehicle aimed directly at a Ward County Sheriff’s Deputy who was attempting to install a runaway vehicle’s tire deflation device. The deputy jumped aside and then fired twice at the car.
