The Valentine’s Day Dilemma: When You Have More Balloons Than You Can Fit in Your Car

Sometimes you’re so overwhelmed with love that you can’t contain it. But when you show your love with balloons, it might be your car that can’t fit it.

It was a scene on the eve of Valentine’s Day in Washington state where a woman was seen transporting a huge bundle of balloons, tying them through the open window of her car.

Christina Fuller told Storyful that she was parking near the Dollar Tree on Federal Way on Friday when she saw a woman exit the store with a giant bunch of red, white and pink helium-filled Mylar balloons. The spectacle was enough for passers-by, including Fuller, to stop and stare.

Fuller explained, “I wanted to see how she was going to stuff so many balloons into the car.”

It turned out not.

In Fuller’s video, a woman can be seen carefully stacking strings of balloons into her car, apparently tying them to something inside, and then pulling out of the parking lot, the balloons billowing as she slowly rolls away in a one-car love parade.

It is not known how many balloons survived the flight.
