The Tex Factor: Dallas Circus Center

They fly through the air with the greatest ease, but where did they learn the art of flying on a trapeze?

Dallas Circus Center, of course. Navy veteran Donovan Chandler opened a circus training center so he and his friends could train there between circus contracts.

What he didn’t realize was that this personal endeavor would become a public training ground for gym-hungry North Texans.

Tex Factor will take you to new heights with a tour of the circus center, an inside look at why the trapeze is so popular, and an introduction to the locals who turned their love of the trapeze into a career in the circus.

And meet the family of six who flew 40 feet for the first time.

In addition, attend the Dallas Circus Center showcase evening, where students and instructors demonstrate their aerial skills on ropes, silks, Lear hoops, and trapezes.
