The new dairy project is an important milestone in the cooperation between Israel and Guyana

JERUSALEM – Senior officials of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs met with the Chairman of the Board of Demerara Distillers Ltd. Komal Samar and his delegation, who are visiting Israel to complete a project with LR Group to create a dairy farm in Guyana.

Israel is a world leader in dairy farming and other agricultural technologies.

Mr. Yosef Levi Sfari, Director of the Caribbean Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, noted that “Israel is seeking to deepen its relationship with Guyana. We are pleased that Ambassador Itay Bardov will present his credentials to President Irfan Ali in the coming weeks.”

Demerara Distillers Limited Chairman Mr. Komal Samaru stated that he is delighted to be partnering with LR Group of Israel to develop this transformational project, which is a significant investment in DDL’s diversification strategy.
