The missing person from the vine may be hiking due to the extreme cold

Grapevine police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing person who may be hiking in dangerous sub-zero temperatures.

Police said they were looking for 31-year-old Christian Salter-Williams, who was last seen on January 24 at Watauga and has no contact with his family.

Police said that due to the constant cold, lack of contact with Christian and the belief that he traveled on foot, concerns about the well-being of the man increased.

Police said Salter-Williams had a medical condition that would make his search more urgent, although they did not elaborate.

Salter-Williams is black with black hair and brown eyes. He is about 6 feet tall and weighs about 220 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black and gray hat, a navy blue zip-up jacket, a black jacket with white trim, and blue jeans.

Anyone with knowledge of Christian’s whereabouts is asked to call. Vine Police call 817-410-8127 or email [email protected].
