The Golden Globes return Tuesday for their year-long audition

Reaction to last month’s Globe nominations was muted, with several stars publicly celebrating. But only one candidate stated emphatically that he would not attend.

In terms of television, the public school sitcom Abbott Elementary leads the way with five nominations, including a nod for the lead role of Quinta Brunson. White Lotus, Dahmer, The Crown, Pam & Tommy, and Only Murders in the Building received four nominations each.

Other nominees include Brad Pitt (Babylon), Viola Davis (The Woman King), Daniel Craig (Glass Bow: The Secret to Get Knives), Angela Bassett (Black Panther: Wakanda Forever), Julia Roberts. (Gaslit), Donald Glover (Atlanta), Bill Hader (Barry), Selena Gomez (Only Murders in the Building), Kevin Costner (Yellowstone), Diego Luna (Andor) and Bob Odenkirk (“Better Call Saul”).
