The EatZi Market and Bakery head to Terminal D at DFW Airport.

The European-style diner in Dallas will occupy a 2,080-square-foot area in the southern sector of Terminal D of the international airport. The application details a $900,000 renovation and rebuild that will begin in March and end in July.

In 2019, DFW Airport expansion plans were announced with the intention of opening Eatzi’s in the airport’s new Terminal F. The new location will be a mini version of the experience that North Texas residents are used to – Stuart Fitts, co-founder and managing partner. Trinity Groves, according to a previous article in the Dallas Business Journal. Typical larger EatZi locations, such as the location at Oak Lawn and Lemmon Avenue in Dallas, are 10,000 square feet, he says.

The Terminal D annex, which has four gates, will also house other restaurants, including Cake Bar and LUCK (Local Urban Craft Kitchen).

The Dallas-based architectural firm Rouch Architects is behind the design and renovation of the restaurant.
