SAN ANTONIO. Wednesday’s ceremony at the Alamo will commemorate the anniversary of the battle and heroism of the Immortals 32.

On March 1, 1836, 32 men from Gonzales, Texas rode through enemy lines to join the Texan garrison at the Alamo. They were responding to a request for help from William Barret Travis. This event is celebrated every year with special remembrance.

The event will feature special guests including Mayor S.H. “Steve” Sucher of Gonzales, who will deliver a heartfelt address, and young Texans from the Gonzales Crystal Theater, who will perform patriotic songs in honor of the brave men who fought and died in the war. . Alamo.
