Spotted Storms Possible Wednesday, Severe Storms Forecast Thursday

Unstable weather with a chance of a storm is possible on Wednesday and Thursday.

While a few point storms are possible on Wednesday, the possibility of larger storms will return on Thursday.

This will be the result of a powerful storm system coming from California. Many factors will come into play for possible severe weather on Thursday, including hail, high winds and tornadoes.

The National Weather Service in Fort Worth said the area most at risk of severe damage is along and east of Interstate 35, but that could change. The NWS said heavy rains are possible in North Texas, and there is a threat of minor flooding in low-lying or flood-prone areas.

Be sure to review your Severe Weather Safety Plan in case an alert is issued for your area on Thursday, and keep an eye on the weather as times and expected locations of storms may change.
