Southlake police looking for Old Navy thief wearing Jason Witten Cowboys

SOUTHLAKE, Texas. The Southlake Police Department is asking the public to help find a man accused of stealing about $250 worth of merchandise from Old Navy.

CCTV footage shows the suspect was wearing Jason Witten’s Dallas Cowboys jersey number 82. Police say he is about 5ft 9in tall, with short, faded dark hair, wears reading glasses, and appears to be about 50 years old.

“Our bad guy wore a black sleeve on his right arm, which may have been used to hide tattoos or read the next play the attack coordinator calls,” the police wrote in a social media post. “Perhaps we will never know. He also wore a black bracelet and a black watch.”

Police say he picked up a $70 bomber jacket, $18 denim jacket, $45 fold-over jeans, and $110 stretch jeans, for a total of nearly $243. All this was done in about 48 minutes.

Anyone who recognizes a suspect is asked to call CSI Diana Smith at 817-748-8915 or email her at [email protected].
