Six minors arrested for a series of aggravated robberies: SDA

Six minors were arrested for a series of aggravated robberies that took place within 48 hours earlier this month.

APD reports that from Saturday, March 4 to Sunday, March 5, officers responded to nine aggravated robberies that reportedly injured 22 people.

Shots were fired in several incidents, and in one of them a victim was wounded. APD says they are in stable condition.

The following Monday, officers discovered one of the suspicious cars seen on CCTV footage from one of the robberies. Having established that the car was stolen, the police tried to stop the traffic, but the driver continued to move.

Two people got off at Montopolis Drive and Fairway Street. Officers detained one of the suspects and recovered items of clothing and property seen while watching one of the robberies. The police also detained and arrested the driver. Both were identified as minors.
