Silver alert activated for 79-year-old man with dementia

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – The Texas Missing Persons Center issued a Houston Regional Silver Alert on behalf of the Harris County 4 Office of Constables for 79-year-old John G. York.

He was last seen driving in the 7400 North Grand Parkway West block on Thursday at approximately 3:30 pm.

Yorke was driving a blue 4-door Dodge Charger of unknown year.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a shirt of unknown color, a brown American flag baseball cap, and brown boots.

York has been diagnosed with dementia and needs medication.
