Silicone sex doll in Pennsylvania mistaken for human remains: police

A silicone doll, a plastic bag and a suspicious place led to an interesting investigation in a Pennsylvania town.

Officers were sent to a creek along State Route 307 in the town of Overfield on Monday to report possible human remains, according to the Thanhannock Township Police Department.

Authorities say a man and his child were retrieving a ball from a stream when they saw a plastic bag with what looked like a human leg sticking out of it.

Officers and the county coroner arrived at the scene to inspect the bag, but did not touch or move it, according to police.

Officials say the foot was “extremely realistic” and the Pennsylvania State Police were called in to offer help. It was then that investigators determined that the contents of the bag were not human remains.

“We have seen this item being referred to online as a mannequin. This is really not true,” the police said in a Facebook post. “It was a realistic silicone item used for self-pleasure.”

Police say the foot seen through the bag was “extremely detailed down to a French pedicure.”
