Showers with thunderstorms in the afternoon

ORLANDO, Florida – Until we break records on Sunday, but not everything is so cool. Highs with a mix of clouds and sunshine revert to the low to mid 80s. Several showers will pass from morning to noon along a weak cold front, but most will be dry. During the heat of the day, several storms will flare up along the sea breeze. A combination of sea breezes and a weak cold front will contribute to showers and thunderstorms, mostly south of Orlando and along I-95.

On Monday, a few more showers are possible with highs in the mid-80s.

Most of the coming week will be dry until the end of the week, when there is a possibility that a stronger cold front will break ahead. By next weekend, the highs could drop below normal for the first time in a long time. The average highs in early March are in the 70s.

On Sunday, the threat of wildfires remains elevated, especially along the I-4 corridor.
