Shooting in San Francisco ends at Bay Bridge: CHP

San Francisco police are investigating a shooting that ended Tuesday at the Bay Bridge.

The incident began around 6:00 pm when officers were responding to reports of gunfire in the 1200 block of Buchanan Street.

When they arrived there, they were told that someone had fired from a car that had fled the scene.

Officers were able to find the suspect vehicle on Yerba Buena Island, and when they tried to confront the suspect, the driver drove away and a chase ensued on the Bay Bridge, police said.

In the end, the police managed to stop the car and apprehend several suspects.
