Shania Twain releases new album “Queen of Me” and prepares for a world tour

Nobody does it quite like Shania Twain, and the country superstar still does it pretty well. In fact, she has a new album out that came out on Friday.

Shania Twain (sings): “Don’t get me wrong, yes, I think you’re fine.”

She is one of the best selling music artists of all time.

Shania Twain (singing): “You’re still the one I kiss goodnight.”

Lots of hits that you can’t help but sing along to.

Shania Twain (singing): “The best thing about a woman is the opportunity to have some fun.”

Now Shania Twain is celebrating the release of her new album Queen of Me.

Shania Twain (singing): “So let’s wake up in our sleep and dress crazy like superstars.”

The country’s superstar is also gearing up for a world tour.

She says she likes being so busy.

Shania Twain: “It’s pretty meditative. I fall asleep thinking about the scenery, the light, the colors, the textures.”

During the pandemic, work on the album was a salvation for the singer.

Shania Twain: “Writing songs that were very upbeat, very upbeat, things that made me dance, lift my spirits. Now that the album is ready, I want to share it and hopefully share the same inspiration.”

“Queen Me” is a new chapter in her career and she is very excited.

Shania Twain: “At the end of the day, I’m a much freer-spirited person. I value the ability to manage and control my state of mind much more, or at least take it very seriously, which is why ‘Queen of Me’ became the album’s title track.”

The whole experience gives her a sense of strength.

Shania Twain: “Being able to translate my thoughts and emotions into music is really my ability to communicate. The artistic vision that I have, with visuals and art direction, is very important. It’s a continuation of it all, so my artistic expression as a whole.”

Shania’s tour will not take place at SoFlo, but you can see her at the Tortuga Music Festival in Fort Lauderdale on April 15th.
