Severe storm damages Little Elm Market

The owner of the La Azteca meat market in Little Elm arrived on Thursday evening to see significant hurricane damage to his store.

He says there were no known injuries, but we are awaiting official word from first responders.

This happened when a band of severe storms passed through the area.

In a small shopping strip off West Eldorado Boulevard, the La Azteca meat market appears to have suffered the most.

Looks like the awning and front of the store have collapsed. Damaged and cars parked at the entrance.

People who witnessed the damage said it was a small market they depended on all the time.

The owner tells us that he is already thinking about the time and effort it will take to make repairs and get the market back on track.
