Secretary of Defense Austin addresses recent UFO downings: ‘They pose no threat’

On Monday, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin answered questions about what exactly is happening in the skies over the United States after various objects were shot down over the weekend.

“Although the authorities do not yet know what these objects are, they do not pose a threat,” Austin said.

“They do not pose a military threat to anyone on earth,” he said. “However, they pose a risk to civil aviation and a potential threat to intelligence gathering.”
