Santander Announces New Services for Mortgage Clients in “My Home Manager” on the Santander Mobile App

Santander UK today announced the addition of additional services to My Home Manager that provide mortgage clients with personalized information and support through the Santander mobile app.

The second phase of Santander’s innovative My Home Manager all-in-one home management service introduces a number of new features, including:

  • Relocation services (AnyVan) – Clients can access the services of AnyVan, the UK’s largest moving company, to arrange their moving services. The service provides a free estimate, and My Home Manager has a built-in feature that lets you track your move with an interactive checklist.
  • Solar panels (MakeMyHouseGreen) – Customers can receive offers on solar panels and other solar products, as well as access educational content on renewable energy.
  • Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) function update: Customers can access their home’s EPC to check its energy rating from A (most efficient) to G (least efficient), as well as learn more about EPC expiration dates and how to renew it. There is also the option to apply for Countrywide’s free £400 EnergyFact report on how to improve your home’s energy efficiency. In the second half of 2022, Santander provided EnergyFact reports to 6,000 customers.

“To date, over 60,000 customers have taken advantage of My Home Manager and the new features are based on what our customers say they would like to see. From moving assistance to information on how to save money on your energy bills and access to green technologies like solar panels, we hope this adds even more support to help our customers manage their homes.”

Other features of My Home Manager include:

  • Home panel: Clients can view their a home’s appraised value, which is updated every three months, along with their mortgage balance sheet, helping them see their net worth estimate.
  • Fix and maintain: Customers can get cost estimates and free quotes from local home maintenance and repair technicians, order work, and track progress.
  • Home digital: Customers can compare offers and switch to a new provider in the Broadband & TV and Mobile Phone sections of the app.
  • Situation: The app provides inspiring ideas, articles and exclusive deals for Santander’s customers on home furnishings to help them create the home they love.

Santander will continue to add new features on an ongoing basis and customers can see what’s planned in the What’s Next section of My Home Manager.
