Russell Crowe’s girlfriend refused to serve an Australian restaurant due to non-compliance with the dress code.

Russell Crowe and his girlfriend Britney Theriot was reportedly banned from a Japanese restaurant in Australia recently because they didn’t comply with the “smart casual” dress code.

Gladiator actor’s manager Grant Vandenberg told Daily Mail Australia that the couple went for Mr. Miyagi’s fusion. restaurant in Melbourne for a quick bite.

“He (Russell) went there in a brand new Ralph Lauren polo shirt, having just played tennis, and was turned down,” Vandenberg said. and restaurant were brought into contact with each other.

The restaurant’s website states that, along with flip flops, active wear is not allowed inside the diner.

Owner Christian Klein told the Daily Herald the couple were dressed in “sleazy sportswear,” adding that management treats “everyone the same,” according to the Daily Mail.

“It doesn’t matter who you are or Russell Crowe,” he said. “We have a dress code that we promote at every level.”

He added, “We are not trying to teach people how to dress. But I personally know that if I’m in a thong and panties, I’m not going to try to go to a good restaurant because I wouldn’t be dressed appropriately.”

Klein told the Sydney Morning Herald that the staff member who denied service to the couple did not recognize Crowe.

“We would like him to come to dinner, we would like him to come back,” he said.

Caitlyn Jenner and Rita Ora also admitted to being denied service in restaurants in the past due to non-compliance with the dress code.

Ora told Gordan Ramsay it happened at one of his restaurants but didn’t specify which one because she didn’t want anyone to get in trouble, and in 2021 Jenner criticized the Beverly Hills Hotel for being that he wouldn’t let her eat over her torn jeans.
