Rush’s wife Limbaugh is selling his longtime Palm Beach home for a record $155 million.

Rush Limbaugh’s widow, Katherine Adams Limbaugh, has sold her husband’s longtime Florida residence for a whopping $155 million.

According to the Wall Street Journal, this is a record for the Palm Beach area, where many large deals have been made over the past few years.

In 2013, hedge fund Ken Griffin paid $129.6 million for four lots in the area, the most recent record to date.

The 2.7-acre property has been quietly sold out on the market for the past eight months.

The new buyer purchased the property, which consists of three houses – 1495 North Ocean Boulevard, 1501 North Ocean Boulevard and 108 Mediterranean Road – under an anonymous LLC.

Limbaugh bought the houses back in 1998 for $3.9 million when he was married to his third wife, Martha Fitzgerald.

Katherine, his fourth and final wife, met Limbaugh in 2004. But Limbaugh never had children. Katherine, 46, married Limbaugh in 2010 at a lavish Hawaiian-inspired wedding party headlined by none other than Sir Elton John.

According to Zev Chafetz’s 2010 book Army of One, Rush himself decorated houses inspired by Versailles, and the chandelier in the dining room was a replica of the chandelier in New York’s Plaza Hotel.

The conservative commentator passed away at home in February 2021. He battled lung cancer for a long time.

“I know that I am definitely not the Limbaugh that you are tuned to listen to today. I, like you, really want Rush to be behind this golden microphone right now, welcoming you with another exceptional three-hour broadcast,” his wife told listeners in a surprise announcement on his February 17, 2021 radio show.

“For over 32 years, Rush has cherished you loyal viewers and has always looked forward to every show. It is with deep sadness that I must share with you directly that our beloved Rush, my wonderful husband, passed away this morning due to complications from lung cancer.”
