Rugby player dies suddenly at 18: brilliant young man with ‘infectious attitude’

An 18-year-old rugby player died unexpectedly this week in England.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Logan Holgate died suddenly on Wednesday.

According to Breitbart, the cause of death was not reported.

“Logan seemed to be on his way to more as he was to be promoted to the Salford Red Devils reserve team this year, which would have greatly elevated his standing in the sport,” Breitbart said.

Rugby-League.com reported that Holgate was a valuable player who made a name for himself in an English team that “made history in Italy last September”.

“He left an indelible mark on the program and staff – a brilliant young man and teammate.”

The rugby organization in Hensingham said: “It is with great sadness that we have to announce the death of one of our boys, Logan Holgate, today,” according to the Evening News.

“Logan has been at the club since he was young. … We are all devastated by this news and will continue to support the family as much as we can. Rest in peace, Logan.”

Ashley Kilpatrick, director of the Whitehaven Rugby League, spoke about what a promising player Holgate was.

“I’ve never personally seen Logan play, but I’ve been told he’s a future star,” Kilpatrick said.

Many on social media are noticing a clear increase in reports of sudden deaths of young people, including many athletes, or unexpected serious health problems.

Some point out that the timing of the increase appears to coincide with the introduction of COVID vaccines:

One Utah mom whose son developed life-threatening blood clots in his brain and lungs after being vaccinated against Pfizer’s COVID-19 in April 2021 at the age of 17 said her son’s medical records directly linked his condition with a vaccine.

Cherie Romney said her son Everest was “100% healthy” until he got vaccinated. According to her, the injury he received ended his basketball career.

On January 3, Cherie Romney posted an update on Facebook.

“Just TODAY came out of the emergency room,” she wrote. “Everest has another blood clot, a deep vein in his right leg, and they confirmed that his heart is still damaged. A referral to a cardiologist is more information about his heart, as it appears that damage from inflammation may be irreversible. Pay no attention to [effects] traumatic brain injury that he still faces on a daily basis.”

With a hint of sarcasm, Romney continued: “Thanks to the Covid vaccine, thanks to the US government. My 6’9 former basketball player no longer plays basketball and is back on blood thinners as of tonight. So glad I did the “right” and protected him from Covid, bummer that lying about it changed his life forever and almost killed him.

“Covid didn’t even make him sick.”
