Jason Smith (R-MO), a senior member of the House Budget Committee, the Inflation Reduction Act would also add “fuel” to the “inflationary fire.” He explained that the Inflation Reduction Act uses budget tricks and false offsets to hide the true value of the bill. Smith said the bill would add $114 billion to the debt, taking into account Manchin’s fake gimmicks.
