Rodeo, the first ever FREE Community Day on Wednesday

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is already one of the best deals in town, and now they’re offering a free day for the first time.

HOUSTON – The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo have announced big plans for a brand new Community Day with free entry for everyone until Wednesday, March 8 at noon.

Sponsored by TC Energy, the special day will also include discounts on carnival rides and games, as well as lower prices on select food and drink options.

“Community Day ensures that the entire community has the opportunity to enter NRG territory and truly experience what rodeo has to offer,” Rodeo President and CEO Chris Boleman said Monday.

Free entry will be for park tickets, which include entry to the carnival, cattle show, and all rides at the NRG Center and NRG Arena.

Tickets for rodeos and nightly concerts at NRG Stadium are sold separately. If you have Rodeo tickets, they include entrance to the grounds.
