Rodeo on the cheap: discount days and other ways to save!

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is offering a free Community Day for the first time. You can also save on family environments.

HOUSTON. Many families are saving money these days, so there are several ways to save money at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

They have announced plans for a new Community Day with free entry for everyone until noon on Wednesday, March 8th.

Sponsored by TC Energy, this special day will also feature discounts on carnival rides and games, as well as lower prices on select food and drink items.

“Community Day ensures that the entire community gets the opportunity to step into NRG territory and truly experience what rodeo has to offer,” Rodeo President and CEO Chris Boulman said Monday.

Free entry will be for ground tickets, which include entry to the carnival, livestock show, and all attractions at the NRG Center and NRG Arena.

Tickets for rodeos and nightly concerts at NRG Stadium are sold separately. If you have Rodeo tickets, they include entrance to the grounds.

Community Day Discounts

• Free admission for all guests until noon on 8 March

• Buy one, get the other rides and games in the Junction Carnival area until 4:00 pm.
