Police say two teenage brothers have been arrested on murder charges in connection with the death of a man in Dallas.

Christopher Sagrero, 17, and his brother José Sagrero, 19, have been charged with one count of murdering 24-year-old Moises Flores.

GARLAND, Texas. Police say two teenage brothers have been arrested in connection with the deadly shooting in Garland.

In a press release on Tuesday, January 24, the Garland Police Department announced that 17-year-old Christopher Sagrero and his brother, 19-year-old José Sagrero, were charged with the murder of 24 people. one year old Moises Flores from Dallas.

Police said around 4:25 p.m. on Saturday, January 21, officers were called to the 400 block of S. Forest Crest Drive in response to a gun riot. The caller informed 911 that several people were shot at the scene and the suspects fled the scene.

When Garland police and firefighters arrived, one victim had already been taken to the local hospital in a private vehicle, while a second victim had been found and taken to the local hospital by Garland paramedics, officials said.

On Monday, January 23, the police learned that one of the victims, who was identified as Flores, died from his injuries. The second victim is still in the hospital, his condition is stable, police said.

Christopher and José Sagrero are currently in the Dallas County Jail.

The investigation is ongoing.
