Police investigate shooting on West State Street in Trenton

TRENTON, New Jersey (MERCER). Details are currently still sketchy, but just after 11:00 a.m., a shooting occurred near 630 West State Street near General Green Avenue. Police, firefighters and an ambulance arrived at the scene. There were reports of a man hit by a gunshot but of unknown condition. The shooting response team, including the Trenton police, the New Jersey State Police, and the Mercer County Attorney’s Office, actively investigated the shooting.
