Police are looking for a woman accused of displaying a weapon at Arlington Memorial Hospital.

Arlington police are looking for a woman accused of displaying a weapon at Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital on Saturday morning.

Police say they received a call from the hospital informing them that a white female suspect entered the emergency room lobby with a gun at approximately 8:55 am.

Noticing the gun, the hospital guard on duty confronted the suspect and ordered her to leave. No shots were fired, according to police. The suspect fled before police arrived and was last seen walking west on Randall Mill Road.

No information has been released about the events leading up to this situation, but APD confirms to NBC 5 that police officers are currently still surrounding the hospital to secure the area.

Officers say they don’t believe the suspect is in the hospital area anymore.
