Police are looking for a man who shot and robbed a victim in South Austin.

The Austin Police Department (APD) is asking for help identifying a suspect in an aggravated robbery in South Austin.

Police reported that on January 10 at around 00:54 an aggravated robbery took place near Block 5300 at South Pleasant Valley Road and Stussney Lane.

The suspect made contact with the victim at a 7-Eleven store on Stassney Lane earlier in the night. Both were later involved in an altercation that resulted in the victim being shot and robbed by the suspect.

The suspect was described as being Hispanic in his 20s, short in stature, with shoulder-length wavy hair.

He was last seen wearing dark pants, a gray Nike hoodie, and Champion flip flops.
