Pazza Market and Cucina bring Italian delicacies to San Diego’s UTC area

January 16, 2023

Launching later this month, Pazza Market & Cucina is a restaurant and Italian market opening as part of UTC’s new San Diego collection.

From Vanessa Uto, who ran two Lean & Green Cafes before selling the business during the pandemic, Pazza Market and Cucina is an Italian restaurant and food market run by former Cesarina and Ambrogio15 chef Patrick Money. The 2,000-square-foot restaurant, opened as part of UTC’s new Westfield collection in the UTC mixed-use complex, is designed by My Studio ID and will feature a glass-enclosed kitchen with a wood-fired brick oven, a bar, and an outdoor patio.

The Pazza Market & Cucina menu will include Roman and Neapolitan style pizza options, Italian appetizers, panini sandwiches, cold cuts and homemade pasta, as well as Italian beer and wine. In the market, expect a variety of ready meals, fresh pasta, sauces and other essentials and imported products.

Pazza Market & Cucina opens January 25 at 4577 La Jolla Village Drive, Suite 1234, in San Diego’s University Town Center. For more information visit pazzamarket.com.
