Overturned 18-wheeler expected to block connector ramp to NB I-35E for hours, officials say
DALLAS — The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office is working on a traffic accident that’s blocking the westbound Woodall connector ramp to the northbound lanes of I-35E. They say the ramp will remain closed off until around 8 a.m. as they handle an overturned 18-wheeler.
Dallas Fire-Rescue (DFR) said the accident happened shortly before 3 a.m. Wednesday. The 18-wheeler struck a barrier and overturned at North Stemmons Freeway and Woodall Rodgers.
No injuries were reported, according to DFR. The Sheriff’s Office is now at the scene.
