Our top five takeaways from the “After the Altar” episodes of Season 3 of Netflix’s Love Is Blind, set in Dallas.

We’re not sure if love really is blind, but the Dallas cast of the hit reality show definitely confirms that love is very complicated!

DALLAS – Editor’s Note: The video at the top of this article was originally posted on November 3, 2022.

The Dallas area took center stage in the third season of the Netflix reality show Love Is Blind, not like it’s been a year since the couples featured in it said yes (or don’t) – and four months later . this wedding (or lack thereof) was actually broadcast – an epilogue was also released.

Season 3 of Love Is Blind: After the Altar hit Netflix on February 10, and as far as we can tell, the show’s cast members are all living mostly normal lives outside of the pods these days.

The thing is, normal isn’t that interesting. I’ll be honest, all of you: this three-episode season’s continuation is kind of a dream book!

These people seem to live with less messy drama than previous seasons. There was only a little bit of drama in these episodes – a pinch though. It was only it’s enough for me to double-click the “Next Episode” button.

So what did I learn about these couples for my trouble? Let’s dive into this. But before reading further, be aware that this review contains spoilers. So read at your own risk.

When you’re in love you find ways to make things right

Okay, let’s start with everyone’s favorite couple, Alexa and Brennon. These two are as cute as ever. And they understand! Of course they have awkward dinners. And some of Alexa’s father’s jokes about not liking Brennon don’t go so well. But people have a strange relationship with their mother-in-law. To me? I would like a spin-off with only this couple. They will make great parents!

It’s okay not to rush or force a happy married life

Matt and Colleen are still together – married but not living together. Good for them, I think! It will be interesting to see how their dynamics change when they finally live under the same roof. The momentum they have right now is not that great. Colleen says that Matt, the known hotheaded man, gets better when they argue, so… is that an improvement? One more thing to improve: Matt, neuter your dog! His hunchback is not cute. All of this is to say that I can appreciate how the couple recognizes that they need to take small steps in their marriage. You met on a reality show that asks you to marry someone in a week. Move at your own pace!

You really don’t have to stay friends with your exes.

Nancy and Bartis… sigh. There are so many things that I could say. Firstly, this couple did not get married – and thank God! On the reunion show, Bartis admitted that he dabbled with other people. And then these two decided to try and become friends? But why? This man is not worth Nancy’s time. And although Nancy’s family is too passionate about her affairs, they were right about Bartiz. Why be friends with someone you don’t like? This man repeatedly criticized Nancy’s appearance for no reason. Um, she’s beautiful! Starting over is hard, but worth it.

Therapy works

I’m so proud that Zanab threw Cole down the altar at the end of Season 3 and I’m even happier that in these After the Altar episodes we learned she found a therapist. Breaking a heart is hard! Working through all this is a smart decision. As for Cole? He could do some self-analysis himself. I’m all for a good cry, but when it’s used as a way to avoid responsibility for my actions, I refuse. Find yourself a therapist, Cole! And eat some cuties while you’re there.

Not everything is as it seems at first glance

So, even though the rumors have reached us, the big shock in these After the Altar episodes is that they confirmed that SK was cheating on Raven. This dude has commitment issues! He told Raven “I don’t want to” at the altar and then stayed in a long distance relationship with her. then deceived? And he re-proposed? Sir?!?!?! This is especially disappointing because the two seem to genuinely love each other. Everyone was rooting for them too! Sometimes the universe has other plans, I guess.

Final Thoughts

Whether they’re together or moving on to other partners, I really wish the entire cast of this show the very best.

It must be wild to follow both on national television.

But good news? When you find your man, it’s worth it. You just do the job.

Speaking of work, I can’t wait for Season 4 of this stupid, dirty show!
